Growing Healthy Minds

Growing Healthy Minds – Working in collaboration with other third-sector organisations we create spaces and opportunities for people from all backgrounds experiencing either physical or mental health challenges to come and get involved with growing flowers and connecting with nature. This project gives people who normally don’t get the chance or opportunity to plant, nurture and grow flowers, while meeting people with similar shared experiences.

Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

We create opportunity for people from all backgrounds, to come and get involved on the Flower Patch.

Pay it Forward

When you support the Flower Patch by volunteering, attending sessions or buying our seasonal British flowers you are not only supporting your own wellbeing you are also supporting others via ‘Pay it Forward’ to access activities that support their wellbeing too.

All our sessions are accessible to everyone regardless of financial status. Thanks to grant funding, flower sales, paid for events, and donations, our supporters are enabling us to offer our sessions fully funded to support those that need it most and may not be able to access much needed wellbeing activities.

Using social and therapeutic horticultural practice along with wellbeing activities we invite anyone suffering from the pressures of the modern world or feelings of stress and anxiety to get involved.
