Woodland Hideaway

A wonderful addition to the Flower Patch’s array of events is Wildfullness Wellbeing.

Connecting to nature in our new woodland hideaway, these sessions are aimed at offering a space for mens mental health and wellbeing.

Projects will be along the lines of forest school for adults meets Men’s shed with making, building and fixing things in our woodland hideaway.

Basic knife/whittling skills, fire lighting and safety, cooking outdoors, timber and nature based craft coupled with a cuppa and chat around the fire.
These sessions will be led by Dale, Mr Patch himself. With a lifelong love of being outside, whittling, wood turning and nature, Dale is the ideal person to put you at ease and introduce you to the wonder of nature, our site and connecting to like minded people.

This valuable project for wellbeing and community is funded by The National Lottery,

and is part of the Third Space project, which is lead by Middlesbrough Environment City.
