A very welcoming group brilliantly led by Nicky.
The walks are just the right length & are suitable for all abilities and it’s nice to round the morning off being creative and enjoying more chat and a cuppa.
Since I have been going out on the walks and attempting the craft sessions, I have improved my walking (which was also noticed by my GP), sleeping a little better, overall feeling better both physically and mentally. I look forward to Wednesdays, long may the sessions continue.
I volunteer weekly to help grow flowers and maintain the gardens. I’ve never been good at meditation but going to the patch weekly has helped me clear my mind every week and gives me something to look forward to.
I started going to the patch to learn how to grow beautiful flowers and but I’m getting so more out of it than I could have imagined
I really liked this idea which combines together Wellbeing, communities, environment, people and business. I have background in Agriculture and Horticulture and very interested in your work of planting flowers naturally
Nicky explained and showed how to secure our foliage to the wreath. Most enjoyable morning
We are a ‘Not for Profit’ social enterprise, growing seasonal cut flowers in Acklam, Middlesbrough.
Using social and therapeutic horticultural practice along with wellbeing activities we invite anyone suffering from the pressures of the modern world or feelings of stress and anxiety to get involved.
